To make sure you have a great time during your holidays, do what we do: every year I book a holiday with my family at the family campsite in the Vendée the Moulin de la Salle.
And yes, I did say every year! You'll see that this campsite: to try it is to adopt it! We love it and it has everything we need for a great stay, so we have no reason to change. Its location is ideal, as it's on the doorstep of Les Sables d'Olonne, the emblematic seaside resort of the Vendée that we love so much. Our children love spending their afternoons in the large pool area, which has an indoor pool with a relaxation area and a paddling pool, and an outdoor pool with a paddling pool. No need to look for rainy day activities, there's nothing like being cosy in the indoor pool.
Our holiday programme is often the same, but we love it: relaxing, swimming, cycling...
That's another reason why we love the Vendée - the department's many cycle paths have always taken us to some wonderful places. Its fine sandy beaches are magnificent and ideal for 100% relaxing moments.
In short, the whole family loves this destination, the camping and everything that goes with it, and we won't be changing that for the time being.
