In the end, we were desperate to find a free rental. So we consulted most of the famous holiday rental websites. Either the rentals were already taken or the prices were clearly prohibitive. We expressed our frustration to a couple of friends, who suggested that we try a different approach. We navigated by sight and then suddenly, a ray of light appeared in a grey sky... We came across the Moulin de la Salle campsite. We quickly realised that it was just what we were looking for. In fact, this 4-star campsite has a certain standing but doesn't go overboard. As you can imagine, the reason we're talking about it today is to put it in the spotlight. We had a wonderful weekend in Les Sables d'Olonne, thanks in part to the campsite managers. They gave us a warm welcome. They gave us lots of great addresses and advice that enabled us to get off the beaten track and explore the town in a different way. So we wanted to thank them. And then... What can I say about the mobile home we stayed in? Impeccable, modern and perfectly equipped.
